Microsoft has been unable to ‘plug the leaks’ recently at its Windows division: recently the release to manufacturing version of Windows 8 emerged online, and now samples of the new OS’ box art have hit the blogosphere.
The Verge was first to report on this leaked box art.
Prominent to the box art’s design, is the logo for the new Windows 8 UI — which was called ‘Metro’ until last week.
Like the packaging for Vista and Windows 7, the box art will come with slight variations in colour scheme depending on the version: Pro comes in a darker variant.
Windows 8 will be available on October 26.
