In Case You Forgot, Turtle Beach Bought ROCCAT In 2019
Turtle Beach’s gaming peripheral has been pretty quiet but that has changed with the Burst II Air and several other mice you can check out below the fold. The wireless Burst II Air uses PixArt’s PAW3395 sensor, a 1000 Hz polling rate and can connect via Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless or wired in if you like. The battery is internal and charges via an included USB Type-A to Type-C cable, it also comes with a wireless dongle, a wireless extender, a set of replacement feet, and a set of grip tape if you want to apply it.
The Burst II Air can be used with Turtle Beach’s Swarm II software which TechPowerUp found to be an improvement over the original, with settings that not only apply instantly but now actually work as expected. Overall they quite like the mouse, though they would like to see better battery life as 30-40 hours falls on the low end of longevity.
