The Ambidextrous ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP, 4K At 240Hz Or 1080 At 480Hz

32″ Of OLED With HDR400, RGWB Subpixel Layout And Micro Lens Array

The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP is a 31.5″ OLED display with a native 4K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz, but with the press of a button it becomes a 1080p display with an impressive 480 Hz refresh rate.  It’s sort of a physical toggle to replace the upscaling offered by modern GPUs, with the addition of a higher refresh rate.  This could be useful for someone hoping to upgrade their GPU in the near future and want a display that will work for them now at 1080p, and at 4K once they can upgrade.

The Guru of 3D did try 1080p briefly, but were so pleased with the look at 4K they quickly switched and never looked back.  The colour accuracy is impressive, 98% coverage of DCI-P3 out of the box and 100% sRGB mean it could also make a good display for creative types that like to game once the work is done.  The uniformity of colour and brightness is also highly rated in the review, apart from the mild issues inherent with all OLED displays.

You will have to invest around $1300 to experience the Swift OLED PG32UCDP but you get a lot of features for that cost, as revealed in Guru3D’s full review.
