It’s Log, It’s Log …
Akko have done something which stands out in the overly crowded market of mechanical keyboards. The MU01 Mountain Seclusion is a wooden 65% form factor keyboard, with a walnut case frame, brass accents, and PBT plastic keycaps. It offers USB-A to USB-C connectivity as well as Bluetooth, and the 4000mAh battery will give you a lot of use before it needs recharging. The MU01 Mountain Seclusion offers per-key RGBs, but due to the opaque keycaps you won’t see the lighting from most angles.
The switches are sadly not wooden, instead they are Akko’s own V3 Piano Pro and Rosewood linear mechanical switches. This means you won’t get much tactile feel out of typing, nor create much in the way of noise. That might be a draw or a drawback depending on your personal preference. TechPowerUp were impressed with the keyboard, especially at it’s $120 MSRP however they hope that Akko will update the software which controls the MU01 Mountain Seclusion. It could use a preview mode to avoid the delays they saw when trying out the different features.
