    Bought this to use with Skype on OS X Lion and my existing Plantronics headset. It performs perfectly! I was a little apprehensive about buying the cheapest model in the line, but I can’t see where I would need any of the features or software provided by the higher models. Both OS X and Skype saw the adapter immediately without any software or drivers needed. It shows up in the system sound settings, so you can even output music or any other system audio to it if you want to leave the headset on your ear and not bother your coworkers.

    This allows you to connect your regular Plantronics headset up to a computer for gaming or for skype, etc.

    It works as advertised and extends the functionality of the headset beyond just the phone. I am using these in a medium call center.
