You Could Use It For Work Too, If You Wanted
Lenovo isn’t generally a go to company for gaming laptops, though they are certainly not new to it. The Lenovo Legion Pro 5 model which TweakTown recently reviewed does pack a fair punch for it’s $1480 price tag though. The Ryzen 7 7745HX can boost it’s eight cores up to 5.1GHz, the RTX 4070 will let you game on the 16″ 2560x1600p IPS display at 165Hz in many cases and a 1TB NVMe drive will store a fair amount of games. It ships with 16GB of 5200MHz DDR5, which you can upgrade if you so wish as the SO-DIMMs are not soldered on.
Connectivity includes three USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, and Ethernet with WiFI6e for those that prefer wireless. It can’t beat a laptop with a Core i9 and RTX 4090 but it provides quite a lot of performance for the price. If you like the idea of gaming on the classic ThinkPad keyboard, but with added RGB, then check out the Lenovo Legion Pro 5.
