Fast just got faster with the next-generation EVGA GeForce GTX 770, a high-performance graphics card designed from the ground up to deliver high-speed, super-smooth gaming.EVGA is also introducing a brand new cooling design; the EVGA ACX Cooler. This revolutionary double ball bearing design offers a 40{b81fbfd19e1fca5890798868c0714c408bbd5ec471654b6f9630c0fffa6e7eb3} increase in heatsink volume, 15{b81fbfd19e1fca5890798868c0714c408bbd5ec471654b6f9630c0fffa6e7eb3} average lower GPU and memory temperatures, and double ball bearing fans with an average lifespan of 12 years. This is a 4X longer lifespan vs. competitors sleeve bearing fans! Not to mention this fan is silent, in fact it is 15{b81fbfd19e1fca5890798868c0714c408bbd5ec471654b6f9630c0fffa6e7eb3} quieter on average! The EVGA GeForce GTX 770 is stacked with unique gaming technologies like NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 that make it fast. Really fast. So nothing will hold you back from taking on – and dominating – your most challenging games.

    GTX 680 Revisited!, June 20, 2013

    This review is from: EVGA GeForce GTX770 w/EVGA ACX Cooler 2GB GDDR5 256bit, Dual-Link DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI,DP, SLI Ready (02G-P4-2773-KR) Graphics Cards 02G-P4-2773-KR (Personal Computers)

The GTX 770 is basically a GTX680 which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but a good thing since it’s much cheaper than a GTX680 and a bit faster. I have five computers at home and I just upgraded one of them to the GTX 770 because the card that I had before (HD6850) just died on me. The GTX 770 is also better designed than a GTX680 and has a nice thick PCB. I love GPUs that have thick PCBs. 😀

The EVGA GTX 770 comes with a base clock of 1046Mhz and a boost clock of 1085Mhz. It also comes with 2GB of Vram that is more than enough for gaming. It handles all of my games at 1080p without an issue. It also has no problems maxing games at 2560×1400 and the 2GB Vram is more than enough for that resolution. I’m seeing a lot of people that say 2GB isn’t enough for anything above 1080p which isn’t true.

The GTX 770 has some nice 700-series features that the GTX680 didn’t have such as GPU Boost 2.0 and OpenGL 4.3 support. GPU Boost 2.0 allows raising the frequencies of the GPU above their base clock as long as there is enough power headroom and it supplies the the voltage that it requires to accomplish this. This is a nice feature that Nvidia has implemented into their GPUs because it makes their cards much more efficient than the competition. There really isn’t any reason to look at 6xx series cards at this point unless the GTX 680 comes down in price.

The automatic fan speed is great but I usually use MSI Afterburner to control the fan speed of all of my cards because I have more control over the automatic fan speed. The card idles at around ~32c which is pretty cool and under load doesn’t go above 70c. I love the smooth experience that this card delivers in games. This card comes at 10″ long which isn’t the longest card out there but there are other cards that are shorter and fit into mid ATX cases. I recommend you measure your case before buying it before you run into any trouble.

    Pros:
    + Robust design
    + Whisper quiet fans
    + GPU Boost 2.0
+ Low temps both in idle and under load
    + Overclocks like crazy
    + EVGA Warranty
    + Sexy

    Cons:

    – None

Overall, I highly recommend the EVGA GTX 770 card to anyone who wants a GPU that can handle all the modern games without breaking a sweat. The EVGA GTX770 is very well designed and uses a quieter cooler than some other brands. The card runs super cool and overclocks like a monster. It delivers a smoother gaming experience than the competition and Nvidia makes awesome drivers. I also recommend going with EVGA when purchasing a GPU from Nvidia because they have one of the best customer service in this industry.

    My main rig:

    Case: Corsair 900D
    GPU: EVGA GTX Titan
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K (still experimenting)
    PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000W
    Ram: Kingston 16GB of RAM
    SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
    MB: ASUS Sabertooth Z87
    OS: Windows 7 64bit

I love this card. The fans keep it really cool. I’ve played several games on highest settings and highest temp has been about 63c and fan speed was about ( can’t remember exactly) 65-70{b81fbfd19e1fca5890798868c0714c408bbd5ec471654b6f9630c0fffa6e7eb3} maybe less, I haven’t noticed high temps or fan speed noise at all but, I have been occupied playing so I can’t notice all info on on-screen display. I have so many noise producing things in my house that keeping my computer at low noise levels is really not that important to me. I actually sleep better with background noises anyway. I highly recommend this card as upgrade to anything below the GTX680. If you have a GTX680 save your money or go next step up to GTX780 if you have the funds. I got the free back plate with this card but I haven’t installed it yet. It appears to me to be more a cosmetic add-on instead of helping heat reduction, but it does look good on (I have seen other cards with it installed). All in all a great card, I upgraded from GTX560Ti. I love it.

A+ Graphics Card! Quiet, Cool, Outstanding Performance, July 9, 2013

I just upgraded my non reference 7970 to this reference gtx 770 and I have to say, Im blown away.
The temperatures im getting are 28 degrees idle (24 ambient) (4 degrees delta) and under furmark – max I have gotten is 68 degrees under load. With 100{b81fbfd19e1fca5890798868c0714c408bbd5ec471654b6f9630c0fffa6e7eb3} fan speed around 60 degrees on furmark.
I got the backplate free with this from evga and it makes it look 5x better!
Runs everything without a hiccup and the best thing in comparison to my old 7970 ghz edition is that there is no sag when mounted horizontally! It looks sleek, professional and down right sexy!

Would recommend this card to anyone!
