I got two of these to upgrade my new MBP ’11 to 8GB of RAM. This option only cost $88 and therefore, was a much better deal than the $400 from Apple. Great deal, works just as good as Apple’s RAM, and installation was simple. Remember, you need a #00 Phillips Screwdriver to open up the MBP.

|Asus Laptop: Non-Techie’s Review,
I thought installing RAM would just confuse/frustrate me. I was afraid I’d break something or it just wouldn’t work. Fact of the matter is, anyone with a tiny screwdriver can install RAM. You needn’t be a computer whiz. It’s surprisingly easy to install on my Asus.

Remove battery, unscrew the bottom, slide it in, put it all back together, power-up. -Instant RAM. Accessible & ready to go. If you want a short, visual tutorial, do a YouTube search for – installing RAM.
Once installed on my Asus, I right-clicked on ‘My Computer,’ clicked ‘properties’. The system indicated that I now had 8gb RAM, however, I needed to click the refresh link provided. Voila.
If you’re really clueless about computers, I’ll tell you that this will not increase speed on the Internet. That has to do w/your Internet connection speed. The speed of your processor determines how quickly javascript loads on a web page. However, opening programs, maintaining speed, switching between programs, editing videos, running multiple programs, etc will all be improved.
There’s nothing to be scared of. You won’t break anything. 😉

|Super easy for super fast,
Bought this for my Acer Apsire One 722. I’m noticing the extra speed instantly. This is good for its price and I feel like I now have a healthier computer that’s going to last me longer.
