The Lian Li SUP01 Has A Front Mount For Your GPU

Breaking With Tradition Can Be Cool

I know what you’re asking; the GPU outputs are pointed at the bottom of the case and your cables are routed through the bottom chamber, exiting the back of the case at the bottom left.  Install them before you finish your build and make up your mind what outputs you intend to use before you start.  With that cleared up, the Lian Li SUP01 has a PCIe riser to allow you to mount your GPU at the front of the case, so the fans are drawing in external air with the exhaust being directed to the top of the case.   The Lian Li SUP01 comes with three 120mm fans installed on the side to immediately vent that hot air out.

You can add additional cooling, two 120/140mm or the equivalent radiator on the other side of the case and a single 120mm fan/radiator on the rear.  The case has mesh on three sides to enhance cooling, with one side being tempered glass to show off your components.  TweakTown has only good things to say about the ease of system installation, there is plenty of space and removable panels to make it easy on you.  The POGO clips are not terribly strong, as is usually the case, and the Lian Li SUP01 doesn’t easily lend itself to custom watercooling loops.

It does keep everything very cool, is versatile enough to fit any ATX, BTX or smaller motherboard and moving the GPU to the front is very interesting and apparently quite effective.
