Noctua, That 15 Is Supposed To Mean 150mm Not $150!
If you like what brown can do for you, the announcement of the Noctua NH-D15 G2 likely excited you and made you wonder if you were going to be trading your first generation model for the new one. Well, you were right in guessing that the performance is better but it’s unlikely you expected the price point Noctua is going to charge for the NH-D15 G2. A $150 price tag means that no matter how well it cools, you can probably find something that cools almost as good but costs around a third the price.
The performance of the NH-D15 G2 is undeniable, as it not only beats the first model by a significant amount it can also cool more effectively than some popular AiO water coolers. On the other hand those water coolers cost less too; perhaps Noctua is charging more for a lack of RGBitis?
Turn the volume up when you check out the review, as this is one very quiet cooler.
